While I may be a bit old to be believing in ghosts, "memories" of Abbie Hoffman keep returning to me. Recently, I spoke of "The Chicago Eight" to a friend.
I was very young in Abbie Hoffman's most active times, and I have no personal recollection of quite what was happening.

I only remember Abbie Hoffman -from interviews - while he was "in hiding" in upstate NY, etc.

I do not endorse his socialist views but his revolutionary antics are still inspiring.

It seems to me that today's government people (at all levels) are beaconing back the "ghost" of Abbie Hoffman.

I welcome the spirit!

You know something is happening but you don't know what it is - do you - Mr. Jones?

I always admired Abbie Hoffman back in my pre - Steve Ditko days, though even then, more for what he was against than what appeared to be in favor of.  And if you've spoken to me for any length of time, you know I think there's a galloping need for his type of antic activism.
Pretend it's 1977 and rent The Big Fix with Richard Dreyfuss--you'll love it!

The time has come again - and many more of us are comming "Home."
If I never said it to you before, Sam - WELLCOME HOME!

You express it quite well. There is a "galloping need."
I am very happy to hear some galloping on the horizon even as many new artists/activists are already arriving.

If so many PEACEFUL Freedom activists/artists arrive that I am relegated to not even a footnote, I will be extremely happy.
