A couple years ago, when the economy was good a Latin guy i was working with  wanted to buy a sea doo but had no credit.His name is j, so liking J and having good credit and believing he could afford the sea doo I co- signed. Now 2 years later economy has changed and i get letters stating J is not making his payments and if i don't want my credit affected i need to at least speak with him to figure out how to take care of this to save our credit. So today i decide to go to Lawrence Mass. to speak with J since i have not been able to get hold of him by phone. Before going i printed up a couple copies of J's picture and picture of sea doo  with a $100 reward in case i cant find him. I go to where I believe he lives and go to the front desk of where i believe he lives the guy at the desk states he's never seen him, so i go out to the 4 story parking garage to look for his car, ( I forgot to mention that i have my 140# dog cj with me, a chocolate lab mix.) So we walk around the parking garage looking for J's car which we do not see so we go to the garage attendants booth to speak with him and ask if he might know J or his car He states he is new but his supervisor will be back soon and to come back and ask him then asks if i looked down stairs where their are more vehicles so me and cj walk down stairs where it is very dark and being a white boy in a strange place i take out my utility tool and open the knife and put it in my jacket pocket and put my hand around it. now I'm walking up to the first floor and run across a nice old guy and we start talking i explain what i am doing their he says are you under cover i say no just trying to  get a loan i cosigned for paid.We walk  up together and i ask him to look at the picture of my friend to see if he can help me locate him. Now in know way have i showed or expressed any hostility toward anyone neither has CJ. Next thing i know I'm surrounded by about 10 men some in uniform others without all drawing their guns on me. my dogs leash is around my wrist and my hand is in my pocket. They are all hollering at me to drop the leash which is around my wrist  so i can't now they are scaring me and cj and grabbing me separating me from my pet and asking me where my gun is I say i have no gun but they are adamant that i have a gun and that me and my ferocious dog are intimidating people to pay me money, and that i have no right being in Lawrence. I said i thought this was a free country they said not in Lawrence. By now they have searched me and took my utility tool and threw it on the ground and finally realize after searching me that i have no gun on or near me, being a felon i cannot even have a knife over a certain length which they measured the knife on my utility tool which is a nice one and cost me 60 bucks it has plyers, scissors, assorted screw drivers  and a file and a few other things I use it alot oh yea and a knife. The lead plain clothes guy wants to know what a white boy like me is doing there walking around with a big mean dog and my utility tool with the knife out instead of the plyers I say because i am a stranger in a strange land and was intimidated he said why do i need a knife with the big dog by my side i don't answer being afraid that they will try to charge me with felon in control of a weapon. Now they see my shirt which says " New Hampshire, Live free or die" which they  seemed to have a problem with. Then they said i had some dirt on my pants which was old grease they asked if i was peeping into peoples windows which i exclaimed NO. So now they are discussing what to do with me after running my license and making sure i have at least $40 so I'm not a vagrant. Then after getting shit from every  thug there one decides he is keeping my tool and their is nothing i can do about it. still being scared about my being a felon with a knife i protest a little but they insist they are keeping it and i should just shut up and deal with it so i do. Then they tell me to get out of Lawrence and stop intimidating people. I was pretty mad about the whole situation and instead of leaving went and sat in the park for a couple hours where i believe i was being watched by the undercover thugs. I was wondering if i was still in the US cause i have never been treated with such disrespect by people i support. Now i know for sure that we definitely live in a police state ( country) but makes me glad i live in NH where they only treat brown people that way.I think tomorrow i will call Lawrence PD and try to get my utility tool back, where they will most likely deny knowing anything about the situation.I have a feeling some cops kid is probably playing with his new utility tool right now. Merry Fucking Christmas kiddo  your dad is a piece of shit jack booted bully

  I'm sorry this happened, but, be glad they didn't shoot your dog before they talked to you. It is probrably going to get them into rouble for not following procedure, but, I guess they liked your dog, not you, the dog......  Oh ya, it is a police state in Massachusettess, so i stay out of there.

im pretty sure if i hadnt taken my hand out of my pocket i would have been shot  these guys were like nothing ive ever seen and im no stranger to getting arrested and yes the dog being cooperative did help. they saw that he was well manored and listened to me even in hand cuffs and this white boy will stay in NH where he feels safe    I need to find another way to find this pud whose not paying his bills.

There's a "minimum cash required" ordinance in Lawrence? Must be just in case you don't have a nice multi-tool.

Lawrence is a shit hole and im glad i made it back ,but ive always liked a challenge ,but the only problem i had was the cops not the criminals  its always been that way with me I will not be going back though
