Following Friday's post on shunning, I had this picture in my head of multiple Venn diagrams covering all the issues that folks are passionate about. There is a lot of overlap, but there can also be conflict, especially when someone appears to be a "1 issue" activist.

So what are you passionate about? I hope the categories are self-explanatory, e.g., anti-war, pro-free trade, but you never know. I'm sure I left things out, or created a broad category that has many smaller hot-button issues.

For me, it's Education, Civil Liberties, and Money or Political Reform, but I've been involved with all the other topics (so probably the ones I left out, I haven't!), except for Corporatocracy, unless you count the Read-ID protest at Wal-Mart. I believe that if government got small enough, corporations would not be a problem, but then again, I'm a capitalist.

We've had conflict on Political Reform vs. Voluntary Society, Guns vs. Non-violence, and Animal Stewardship vs. Property Rights (some of which I have not included). What are other potential conflicts?

You left out one of my issues Marriage freedom. Most of the marriage laws were created out of racism and bigotry and need to be abolished.

For me there is one issue...it all comes down to government by force, take that away and your list will be very short.

I think my biggest issue at this point is self-sufficiency, on two levels: the individual level, and the local (state?) level.  The writing has been on the wall for years now: the U.S. as we know it is going down... or at least headed for a big change.  I want to prepare myself as best I can, and network with other people who are preparing themselves.
