Here are some of my upcoming classes, let me know if you're interested in these, or in scheduling for me to teach something during another event. :-)

UPCOMING EVENTS

    * Edible Weeds: A Walk through Northwood Narrows. I will be conducting 2 weed walks this summer, one on Saturday July 18th 2009, and the other on Saturday, August 1st 2009. Meet at the Community Hall in Northwood on Main St. Please wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves, and a hat. Rain or shine. $5. More details to follow. Please RSVP via the contact page
    * Seed Saving Veggies 101 Date: June 15th, 2009, 6:30-7:30pm Cost: $5 Location: Northwood Community Hall. Saving seeds is for the thrifty / frugal gardener. Whether you are currently enjoying the bounty of a home garden, or are planning for next year, we'll discuss how to harvest and store seeds properly, and how to avoid unwanted crosses between your vegetables (selection of varieties, timing, hand-pollination). Handout with suggested books/websites for further reading. Please RSVP by emailing me here, or via the contact page.

Still working on a Sunday date for the rescheduled Edible Weed Walk for August. Please let me know if you have any preference on which Sunday.

Any more seed saving classes scheduled?  I live in Antrim and due to an amputation, I can't always get out.  But am interested in any classes such as stated above.  Please let me know.  I'll  be walking again in about 3 months.

I'll probably do another seed-saving class early in 2010, but in November I'll be doing a tea-crafting class, and in December a home-made cough drops/cold syrups class... Let me know if you're interested, and I'll try to post details here soon (the building has a wooden ramp (and a couple of steps), so it should be fairly accessible.

if I can get over to Northwood I'm interested in both...
