Thanks, Patty and Bill, for making so much food, and Elizabeth and Lauren for the cakes. Thanks, Kat, for the chili - I'm so sorry you had to work! :( Thanks, Elizabeth and Lloyd, for celebrating your birthday with me. Thanks, everyone, for helping create the bonfire (and thanks, Russell and John, for cutting down the tree) and for burning effigies of tyranny with me. Thanks John and Rich for the music (and Lauren for recording them for your project). And thanks, Joe and Roger and Elizabeth for bringing Ranger and Gryffyn. :)

I had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone.

At some point later in the evening, some of us went off to play a game. It turned out to last a very long time and when it was done and I returned to the party, the party was over - everyone was gone. :( Part of parties is having fun with friends, which I did during my game, but I feel a little bad that I spent it with a few friends playing a game, instead of with all my friends, talking and singing and hanging out. I didn't even get to say goodbye to some of you. But I'm glad you came and that I did see you at least for a little while.

I planned to come out to Hoyt and then go out to Henniker but I ended up playing taxi and spending most of the afternoon in Caanan. :(

By the time I got back to Grafton, I should have already been at Henniker. :(

Lindsay came out though!

It's funny to see liberty_belle roasting that flag. :P I'm quite amused.
