*Unofficial* FSP Litter Pickup on 101 in Peterborough

We'll be meeting in the parking lot of the shopping center at the bottom of the hill going into Peterborough at 11 am.
Afterward, we'll meet at the same parking lot and go to Our Town Pizza for pizza, subs, drinks, etc.

Hope to see some of you there And bring your dad!

This is the first. I'm running a little behind. It doesn't look too bad out there however.

the government guys in keene didn't like it when I didn't follow their schedule or fill out their forms
i used to do that section whenever i could and the weather was right

so after a year they dropped me and the place got a little more messy

the place in peterborough has pretty clean for years now

The litter pickup was a great success with 14 bags of trash and 9 participants (Lou, Cooper, Jim, Lauren, Ryan, Kellie, Renee, Kenny, and Joan)

Using taxpayer funded equipment to do the job that taxpayer funded employees should (or should they be doing anything at all with tax payer money?) be doing, is growing heavy on everyone's minds it seems.

I threw out the idea that we should just do litter pickups anywhere we please and perhaps leave a note on one of the state signs saying: "A group of New Hampshire porcupines (or maybe some other clever name*) cleaned this highway on 06/20/2010 and took the bags to the dump. You're welcome. "

Edit: Same acronym, better names:

The Really Arrogant Scum, Helping Society Without Asking Permission.

Trash, Refuse, and Stuff Handlers Serving Without A Permit.

Those Rascals Are Such Helpers, Serving With A Pickup.

The Righteous and Sovereign Helpers, Secretly Whisking Away Pollution.

A couple of more professional sounding names, with different acronyms,
