Ballot Initiative?

Wouldn't it be easier for New Hampshire's citizenry to affect change, if the state constitution permitted direct voter plebiscite?

I know we have the highest ratio of representation in the union, but I imagine the ability to have direct ballot initiatives would permit us to bypass the slow and byzantine processes inherent in any state institution.

Bring true democracy to the Granite State.
