The town next to my home town had a "mow-by shooting".

Crazy old fart who had moved to Arkansas from California was upset that his water bill went up by 54 cents, IIRC, pushing it all the way up over $11 a month.

He rode his mower down to city hall, shot the mayor to death, then rode his mower over to the gas station a couple of blocks away to wait for the cops.
