In the spirit of "now we get our cameras back in an untimely manner" some of us will be demonstrating again outside the Manchester Police Department. And going inside to presumably retrieve our cameras, which were swiped by the MPD June 4.  Most have retrieved theirs but I wanted to consult with some folks before signing my retrieval document.  Anyway you're invited.   These protests have been small so far but have drawn in four new activists, some of whom were just walking by.  And one of the videos from these small demonstrations....has 6k hits.

Background details regarding our grievance:

Planned timeline for this protest:

Tues, Aug 16, 2011

2:30 pm: Gather outside MPD, 315 Chestnut, Manchester, NH
2:45 pm: Enter the department to videotape and try to get our "borrowed" cameras back
3:00 (approx) - 4:30 (approx) - protest outside the PD

This timeline should stay the same even if more of the cameras are released before then.  Some already have been, but MPD deserves another protest and another visit from unhappy "customers."  I'll be there in the absence of some disabling disaster.  I have more signs and stuff than initially.  Am urging folks to take special care to avoid inadvertently blocking any pedestrians on the sidewalk.

I still have yet to retrieve my stolen phone from them. I'd like someone to at least be there filming me when I do so (lest I get carted away for some other invented charge.)

I'll be there.
