So, you've never see firefighters issue tickets for violating a burn ban? Shut down a business and issue citations for fire code violations?

Nope.

No firefighters issued any tickets or citations.

They were threatening to do exactly that, and "enforced the law" by putting out the fire.

Just because you've never heard of firefighters issuing tickets doesn't mean it doesn't happen. In some jurisdictions they have combined "public safety officers" who are simultaneously certified as cops, firefighters, and EMTs.

I have known some firefighters .... especially the unpaid ones like Bob who first "do no harm".
But most of the paid ones I knew in California where part of the bloods (fire gang) much like their fellow gang the crips (cop gang).
We also saw that activity in Keene with the paramedic people acting like cop thugs interacting with Ian and stealing his camera.

It's a "power trip" thing. ....and just another knuckle in the long arm of the law and the new ameriKa the police state.

I recently read where they are now training Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts to be good little snitches.

The bogus war on terror is a war on freedom. The real terrorists are in DC.

Now, that's not fair.  They threatened to have the cops issue the tickets and such.

'Cause, you know, having someone else do if for you, at your request, magically absolves you from responsibility. ::)

Ok folks, I've been saying I'd eventually do this, so here it is. If you appreciate my pro bono efforts to help in emergencies and reduce/prevent the drama occurring in the FSP Community, please chip in if you can afford to--this will help me to continue to do more of the same.
