You can know that I had been warned, and was concerned - but not afraid.

Just in case anything bad happens to me: You can know that I had been warned, and was concerned - but not afraid.

Several months ago, I was told by a guy who knows Grafton very well that if I "keep pushing it" here at 860 Main St. ... "someone might shoot through the window, and that will be the end of John."
I did not take it seriously, and even if I had, I'd still be unafraid anyway.
I only mentioned this to several people and was not going to mention it publicly, but a guy who has been acting very strangely for as long as I've been here has recently, quite noticeably, increased his evening activity.
He has been spotted more frequently, and by more people, "skulking around" (as one guy put it) outside this building. He has been seen standing in the shadows on the green sometimes, appearing to be trying to stealthily listen to conversations over here. He has also previously been spotted just eerily staring up at the building - well after dark. One guy asked if I've ever spotted the skulker looking through the windows yet. I have not seen that, yet.

I want to make clear what I think about this:

I am trying - - as hard as I know how --  and (as imperfect as I am) as well as I'm able - - to do what God tells me to do, which is to try to foster Peace, Forgiveness, Compassion, etc., etc., from right here in Grafton Center; and if anyone is directed (by whatever it is that they worship) to try to stop me, than - by all means - maybe that is what they need to do.

I remain unafraid.

As quite imperfect as I am, I just want to do God's will.

May we all walk in Peace and Metta.
John

Tom Sawyer

I'm hoping you have told others the name of your admirer.

Another worshipper of the local government?

Jim Johnson

A group of people could talk to him, maybe one at time, so that he knows that other people know.

Pat K

Also he could have an accident walking around in the dark like that.
He should be careful.

KBCraig

A fellow could get belly-bopped by accident.

Or trip over a cooler.
