Reading Rand's Anthem to Kira.  I hadn't read it for a long time.  Sure drives home the point collectivism = slavery.

I figured a 12 year old homeschooler would be reading on her own by now.

I buy every Rand book I see at tag sales.  I don't know if it is a function of production numbers or what, but, most of them seem to be copies of anthem.

I think it's on school reading lists. We were in Books-A-Million the other day, and they have it in their "required reading" section.

Kinda ironic... Rand being "required" by the government.
