Mary Ruwart for LP Presidential Candidate

Have any of you seen the Petition to "Draft Mary Ruwart for Libertarian Presidential Nomination" at:

Have any of you signed? Thought we might get some discussion going as to who we'd like to see represent the LP in 2008 ... any thoughts?

That would actually be a good idea.

She would be able to talk to the greenies about why libertarianism is the best solution to them too.

During the Badnarik/cobb debates I couldn't help thinking that they would have been so much different if Mary Ruwart had been their instead of Badnarik.

Just checked the link this morning: 104 signatures on the petition.  If we are going to have any impact of Dr. Ruwart decision to run for office, of course we'll need more signers than this.

You guys know that she was nominated for LP candidate in the 80s sometime right? Just an anecdote. BTW, her recent revision of "Healing Our World" is pretty good. You all should check it out if you haven't already.
