Could be a great opportunity to get the FSP message out there. Plus, win tickets to Fenway!  ;D

In 100 words or less, why is NH so livable to you?

New Hampshire scores high on the quality-of-life surveys whenever our state is compared to others. Once again, the Granite State is considered the "most livable state" in a national ranking.

So what makes New Hampshire your most livable state?

If you tell us what makes New Hampshire special to you, putting your thoughts to paper and keeping them to 100 words or less, your ideas might earn you a trip to see the Boston Red Sox play at Fenway Park in September.

The New Hampshire Sunday News will publish three special editions in July geared to the changing face of New Hampshire. Called "What's NEW . . . Hampshire," these special Progress Edition sections will contain news about all manner of improvements and additions around the state. They will be published on three consecutive Sundays: July 9, 16 and 23.

As part of these editions, we are asking readers to tell us, in 100 words or less, what makes New Hampshire special to them. Keep your thoughts focused on the question, under 100 words, and those seats at Fenway could be yours.

Our panel of editors will choose the top three entries, and the grand-prize winner will receive four tickets to the Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins game on Thursday, Sept. 21, at 7:05 p.m.

The winning entries and other submissions to our contest will be published as part of the special editions.

To enter, we prefer that you submit your 100-word essay as an e-mail to specials@unionleader.com. You may also mail it to Progress Edition Editor, New Hampshire Sunday News, P.O. Box 9555, Manchester 03108. Deadline for entering is Friday, June 16. Please be sure to include your name, address and phone number with your entry.

Employees of the Union Leader Corp. and the employees of its subsidiaries are not eligible. No consideration is required to enter. You must be 18 or older to enter.
