Townspeople fought the selectmen and their 23% budget increase for over 9.5 hours on Sat.  Despite the wrong reporting in the local newspaper,  Hampton voters will vote in favor of a default budget.

Enactment of RSA 149 was fought near the end of the session.  Eminent Domain was mentioned by Town Manager as a power the town has always had. He came down off the stage and was overheard telling his DPW head standing in vicinity that " can not let them (the townspeople) screw this one up with ammendments" or words to that effect.  This was reported to the newspaper.  We continue to flush out eminent domain agenda of the town manager, selectmen and town attorney.

TIF's were voted down last year and will continue to be voted down every year.

Spoke with the Assistant Attorney General on Friday regarding previous year Deliberative Session improprieties. Assistant AG   Found it "extremely disturbing" and asked for additional evidence to determine if criminal wrongdoing is involved.

Overall Deliberative Session went well do to the diligence of excellent Town Moderator.

Sure looks like they are headed in that direction...they can see the treasure....and then the Hampton residents can slap them into reality NH style. 8)

You're quite welcome to rant here.  We're prone to fits of ranting about the government also.

Actually I meant you have "right" or justice on your side ....not just the law.:)
