Do you live inside these signals?

If so, please take a moment to call or email WGIR/WGIN Program Director Angela Anderson.  Her night show, "The Troubleshooter" is about to go away, and Free Talk Live would be a nice replacement!

If you are a listener, let her know, and tell her something you like about her station. Then ask her to put Free Talk Live on in the evening.

If you are NOT a listener, tell her you would listen if she put Free Talk Live on the air.

You can call Angela at 603-625-6915 or email her at angelaanderson@clearchannel.com .

Please post to let me know how it goes.  By the way, she usually leaves the office by noon.

Thanks!

Ian,
you should contact the Merrimack Valley Porcs, because I think a lot of them live in those areas. Plus they usually have 40 or 50 people at their meetings. If half of them call, that's 20 to 25 calls. That might be enough to steer the stations in your direction.

So when are we going to get you on the radio in the Monadnock region? You'll be here soon and I'm sure you want to be able to hear FTL on the airwaves. Has anyone approacched the station around here about airing FTL?

I'm a bit out of range but I'll keep my ears open for any radio shows needing replacements in my area

Thanks for the suggestion, I've posted in the Merrimack and Seacoast yahoogroups.

Looks like you should keep your ears open for a talk station.  According to Radio Locator there are none in your area!

E-mail sent reminding her that I left as a listener when she dropped Gardner, but would like to come back.

That would be WKBK 1290.  The program director is aware of us and wants to meet me when we get to NH.  The more calls he gets, the better.  His name is Dan Mitchell and you can reach him until 1pm daily at 603-352-9230.  Or via email at dan@wkbkam.com

94.9 plays plenty of talk
106.3 plays a little
96.7 does some
102.3 plays some stupid MTV "party" show
92.9 plays very little except the hosted mornign shows
1400AM does some talk

but there are no talk-only stations that I can get that A) aren't in French or B) aren't WBZ

Heh.  I think we need an FTL simulcast in French.  Who wants to do the translation?

FTL_Ian

Well, I got Angela on the phone today and she said she already picked another show for the timeslot.  We'll get on one of these days, thanks for your help!

I'll just have to go meet her in person when I get up there.

Atlas

The show they picked up is probably weak. I know that FTL is the destined talk show for the time slot.

it's going to be pretty tough for stations in-state or even on the borders to say no to a free show originating from new hampshire and discussing new hampshire news on almost every show
