53 pot arrests at hempfest in boston!!! :(

don't know the details but that is what a TV station in boston is reporting.

I was right there and didn't see or expect any arrests.  maybe next year we should be more prepared to act in support of the pot folks.

Just returned from the event.  Yeah, 53 arrests is what we heard, but I didn't see any.

While I was there a kid told me about his mom getting arrested for mistakenly asking a undercover cop for a sack.

Maybe at your event it should be "no cops allowed", and held on private property.

If I can find a place to do that it would be awesome, I need to rethink the size of my event anyway after seeing what boston can draw.  I will need a few good years before being able to do the size event that I would like.

I think cops consider anything barring them from entry an invitation to try and get in and harass people

I searched for more information on Google.   Search terms were: hempfest arrests boston.  This forum string was the number one hit

I saw lots of uniformed cops at the entrances, but no uniforms in the park.  At 4:20 when the predictable happened I didn't see any activity beyond the predictable, and certain residents of the FSP tent fidgeting.
