MLK was a hero.  He certainly held the interests, and, futures of members in his color group more important than most Black leaders do today.

I understand the $100,000,000 is to be raised thru donations.  I'm not sure eactly how, but, I can't help but think that $100,000,000 could be put to better use towards improving the future of urban Black children.

A second thought is, although I'm guessing that wealthy black folks like Oprah have already contributed to the fund, and  I know the taxes they pay are staggering, I wonder why  one of them doesn't reach in to their 'walking around money' and cover the rest.  It could only add to their popularity.
