Who uses what, and how's your service?

I currently use Verizon. It looks like they have pretty spotty coverage in the rural areas, but the South East section looks decent.

If you have Verizon what do you think of your service?

Ah, yes, this will be an important issue for me as well.

I'm going to need a provider with good coverage statewide as well as throughout New England and the rest of the country.

And I'd much rather not do business with Verizon Wireless if it can possibly be avoided.

My parents have US cellular. No other companies have service in my area, and USC is extremely spotty, and doesnt work in many towns like bethlehem, whitefield, and lancaster.

They only use it when traveling.

Get a Nokia 6340i and convince Cingular to set you up with a GAIT account.  You'll have access to the older TDMA networks as well as the newer GSM networks.

I rarely can't get a signal.
