I'm too far to go check on them.

Rainey, go check to see if they are ok!

Has he posted at alll this morning?  I looked breifly and haven't seen him on.  I'll try to get in touch with him and if I can't I'll take a ride over there (gotta get out of my pjs first).  If they're freezing over there they can come over here with us until their heat is fixed.  I'll try now and let you know. Thanks!

I don't know their name--the landlord hired 'em.

Probably the landlord and his nephew trying to save money by doing it themselves.  My sis' landlord did their HVAC system and there were some GAPING holes in the ductwork.  Ugh.

Does your oven work?  Turn it on and open it up!     :campfire:

No, no, no, that is absolutely not the case.  The landlord is doing best he can to take care of the issue by working with the contractor he hired.

Ack!

Sorry for making you guys worry... the reason I haven't posted yet this morning is because I didn't want to get up!  It was COLD!  (But not freezing.)

He's alive, yay!!! ;D  What about the cat? :o

The cat's got a thick coat of fur!  Besides that, she spent most of the night on top of either one of us.  ;D

She curled up to me.  I apparently generate more heat than my girlfriend, because the cat never curls up to me. ::)

So, did they finally get your heat working?

If not, they're there today, right?

The heat is working today, and it wasn't the contractor that fixed it.  The landlord figured out what was wrong and with my encouragement (you might say "nagging!") got it working properly.

It turns out that one of the apartments downstairs was very, very hot.

You do the math.

It certainly would have been nice... maybe one day... :)
