There is--if you don't wait til the baby is full term, the pregnancy doesn't change your body as much!
Of course the recovery is more difficult, but they never think of that until afterwards...and if you only have c-sections, how do you know if it's more difficult or not? Still, it's silly and unnecessary to have an elective c-section planned on such and such a date so that you don't have to screw up your schedule or work too hard to get back into shape.
