If anyone is interested I sell, trade and in some cases buy baseball cards.

Currently I'm working on a 1971 Topps set so if anyone has any cards from that year they would like to sell or trade I'd be interested.  I stick mostly to Topps and I already have all sets from 1986 until present completed so I'm really not interested in any late 80s or newer cards.

As far as what I currently have that I'm selling, tons of cards from the 80s and 90s and a couple boxes of cards from the 70s.  Not many newer then 2000 so if you collect new stuff I can't help you.

For the newer stuff I've been getting anywhere from $5 to $10 for an 800 count box on ebay so depending on what your interested we can wheel and deal.  If you have checklists of individual cards I can see if I can help with that as well.

Occasionally I run across boxes of other cards like Football, hockey, Nascar etc.  Since I only collect baseball I box the other cards up in 800 count boxes without even looking at them and sell them as is.  If you are interested in any particular sport or type of cards let me know and I'll keep my eyes out for them.  In one lot I purchased I even came across "adult" trading cards.  :o  I already sold those off on ebay though.

Didn't the 71 series have a black border that causes condition problems?

Quantrill

I have some cards from the 50s and 60s as well as some basketball cards from the 90s.  I need to get rid of this shit...

Yes.  And if you are looking for mint cards you really have to watch because some dealers use a black sharpy along the edges to make them look cleaner then they really are.

Personally, since I'm in the hobby more for fun then investing I'm not looking so much at the conditions unless they are really bad.  I got into buying larger size boxes and lots and sorting through then selling everything I don't need as a way to make my collecting into a self funding hobby.  Problem is I don't sell them off as fast as my wife would like.
