I own 24 acres in canterbury and would love to subdivide with porcs. if i can get the road upgraded to class 5 i already have a subdivision plan done by an engineer which was not cheap.

Is that a possibility? What would it take? When would it be available?

anything is possible.
what is needed is a surveyor/engineer/wetland scientist to survey a half mile of class 6 road i need a plan for the des ( department of environmental services)to show what needs to be done along with permits for wetland delineation , ditches, culverts and materials .I own a backhoe and truck and to date have put approx. 30,000 into the road but now the des is on to me and want me to do things their way not mine which is much more expensive and time consuming. My land can be found on google earth  under canterbury  3 miles north of shaker village . It is called hancock rd. which connects to snowshoe hill rd. and ames rd which comes out on rt. 106. My rd is across shaker rd. from baptist hill  rd. and misery rd. Right now it is a mud pit and i spend about 3 weeks a year working on it widening and ditching . now i am just trying to save my $$$$$$$$$$ for the completion whitch is still quite a ways away.It is deffinitely a haven for pocupines and beavers and everyother kind of animal you would find in the northeast woods. definitly my slice of heaven and am willing to share with the right peeps. firecracker Joe

Of course, you could form a landed branch of the "Church of All Faiths" with the "Worshippers Are Us" bit from the Frantics skits/songs. Or a faith worshipping the Dionysius:
"Our Lager, Which art in Barrels, Hallowed by thy drink. Our round will come, We will be drunk, At home as we are in the tavern. Give us this day our foamy head, And forgive us our spillage. As we forgive those who have spilled against us. And lead us not to incarcerations, But deliver us from hangovers; For thine is the Stout, the Bitter, and the Pilsner, Now and forever, Amen." (as seen on a t-shirt I own!)

Glory be to God! I've finally discovered my religion! I knew I was spiritual deep down.

Joe would make a good neighbor/landlord ;)

Be careful at his fireworks shows!

firecracker joe

thanx for the endorsement loyd I would make an excellent landlord/neighbor. As long as you like fireworks which there is plenty of room for! loud music and gun fire when ever i get the itch . Its a good spot for malitia practice. and porc haven.
