Three Yale students arrested for burning U.S. flag

All charges have been dropped against two of the defendants as the third confessed it was he that did the actual burning. The judge gave him a 9 month continuance. If he has no further infractions with the law all his charges will be dropped as well.

Good to hear the ending doesn't seem as bad as the outrageous beginning...

The students were, of course, in the wrong for stealing and vandalizing - just that the reaction from the police et al was over the top.
