So with all the Ghandimania sweeping the nation as of late, I found myself reading a bit over at http://www.mkgandhi.org/.? While browsing, I notice they have an e-postcard function, and I decide to drop my brother some good wishes for his birthday.? I picked the card that shows a headshot of Ghandi, apparently laughing.? I thought for a minute, and then wrote my caption thusly:

The Mahatma reacts to news that a British guard was "beaten like a democrat".? I hope your birthday was as jovial.

I was pleased with myself for coming up with a bit that included a dig at the Democrats, of which he is a line tower.? It appeared okay in the preview, with the addition of a couple of slashes where the quotes are.? I send it off and awaited the accolades of praise for my wit.? Then my bro responds, and I click on the link once more for posterity.? The witty quote is gone!? Those bastards cut it down to G-rated!? Censorship make me violent!? GRRRAAAAAWWW!

It may have been a web form error, but I don't think so.? Why would it be OK then suddenly change?

With all of the eloquence I could muster, I registered my disapproval as follows:

To: info@mkgandhi.org
Subject: my card has wrecked

I come to this place after the goverment kill 10,000 my people, to be
free and say if I want, I do the e-card on the website to send wishes
but now they he ghandi sensor me :(

I don't think they'll be pulling that shit again.
