I'm going Ubuntu on my Notebook

it appears that my burner was just fucked. I got a better disc from work. Also, we installed Vista on the new mac today and holy shit it ZOOMED.

Anyway, I got the CD working, and installed ubuntu, but apparently I wasnt specific enough in my partitioning...because somehow windows was still there. which is strange because I dont it to make it the whole size of the partition...I guess I could get a live cd and clear the hard drive....I was hoping to keep the windows recovery partition and now I dont know if it is gone, I guess I dont know why I didnt put it on manual...This is being a whole lot more of a bitch than I thought it would be, but I will figure it out, and its so easy to use once there. I've found so many cool games online I want to play
