BATFE, like the IRS, is a child of the Federal Reserve and are also is not government but a parasite on the government. It's just an enforcment arm of the central bank, and their goal is a defenseless population.

Deja Vu.

- Hero is a member of the BATFE, not exactly considered a glamourous agency even by other feds.
- Villain is white, a small business owner, and a loner. He quotes Thomas Jefferson while trying to blow up civilians.

Typical Hollywood waste, stuffed full of propaganda.

That's sick. I imagine there was some torture and RFID in it as well? Sounds like it's basically a BATFE commercial, like how many movies today are just military recruitment tools.

You're "imagining" waaaay too much. It was just a movie.

Someone should do an inspirational movie for the Freedom Movement maybe even specifically about the Free State Project. It should be set 10 or 20 years from now in New Hampshire. Have plenty of action, suspense and a good philosophical under pinning. Something that any person who values their ability to defend themselves, to own property and to speak freely would get really riled up from watching. I think this would have made a much bigger impact than Aaron Russos America: Freedom to Fascism.

I'm working on a script for a would-be pilot for a cable television series, about a group of young kids living in New Hampshire. It's just for fun obviously, since I highly doubt HBO or Showtime will actually buy my script. To be honest the TV show idea is almost all in my head, and has only resulted in about 2 pages of actual manuscript so far. I have lots of ideas for episode storylines, but have written almost nothing.

The idea I have for the show probably would probably get criticized in the libertarian movement. All of that stuff about how people will voluntarily choose to live safe and boring lifestyles without the government getting involved may be true, but that's a boring TV show. My show would feature characters that smoke heavily, drive without seat-belts in vintage gas-guzzling cars, participate in extreme sports, drink and do lots of other drugs, have promiscuous sex and so on. Part of the idea for the show would be to portray this dangerous, outlaw lifestyle; Make the 'libertarian' way of life seem fucking badass. In a sense, make libertarianism cool. I'd get criticized for it and libertarians would be all up in arms pointing out most libertarians are just regular people and they don't condone the irresponsible behavior portrayed in the show and blah blah blah. But nobody wants to watch a show about some guy that works at a computer company and then goes home and watches TV.

Some of the storylines I'd like to include in the show are female characters using guns to kill someone who's trying to rape her, one of the 'father' characters struggling to make a living as the IRS taxes him to high hell, the NH government trying to pass a gun ban and gun owners filling the street and surrounding the state house pumping guns in the air... And lots of open-carrying and cigarette smoking in general. One of my goals would be for every episode to have at least one moment where any libertarian watching the show would grin and say "FUCK YEAH!" :)

If anyone is interested in seeing this, a dvd rip is now out on torrent sites. Make sure you get this movie and not Die Hard 4. If you want to make sure you have the right release, get the one called 'Live.Free.or.Die.LIMITED.DVDRip.XviD-SAPHiRE'
