Bruce blogged it:

This is where the democrats want to take this state. I will be voting straight republican in the next state election. If more democrats are placed on the state supreme court and the dems control the legislature and governor's office, gun ownership in NH will be severely restricted like it is in Taxachusetts.

Those of you who vote for democrats deserve what you get. Whenever they are in the majority, this is what they do. The state supreme court is a political enemy of the free citizens of New Hampshire.

And don't think the dems in the legislature won't pay attention to this. They are already revving up for next year's session and now they have a court ruling on their side. Trust me, this is like manna from heaven for these socialist pigs.

Perhaps it's time to hammer the legislature until they clear up the statutes in our favor.  The concealed permit law IS way too vague, and IS subject to arbitrary enforcement and gross abuse by local petty tyrants.

These dimocrats need to be hurled from office, immediately!

You're probably right. The legislators who oppose our rights will see a good opportunity in this.
Maybe they are socialist pigs, and maybe they are badly informed. Either way, they hurt us and we hurt ourselves when we play the game without preparation and knowing the rules etc.

I don't think there is much any of us can do to prevent this slide without educating ourselves and teaming up to present our case in the courts and legislatures wherever and whenever the opportunity arises.

We could probably find or posit a better (better on the fundamentals and on preparation)  case to bear our burden here.

It seems like the (without reading the opinion of the court - and without knowing the evidence that was admitted... in the first instance) court may have had an opportunity handed to it here, as there was a public display involving a firearm.

Sorry to be pessimistic but I recently thought I would have a chance to test something in court and it went south on me because nobody would violate the law or my rights. Shucks, now I have to think of something else to do - like get Ron Paul elected (not as answer to this particular problem - but as a matter of priority - for me anyway).

This is an outrage, something MUST be done!  Anyone have these judges home addresses and phone numbers?
