Then again McCain has devolved into a third tier candidate. I'd say it's actually more likely that Ron wins the Republican nomination than this guy.

Not that Fredrudy Romneyanithompson are any better on the drug issue..

Thanks, Kevin.

McCain has no chance in hell, but don't tell that to the senior citizens in Wolfeboro.   ;)

I actually emailed Drug Policy Alliance AS I was watching this, and then he went on to say more insane things.

(as soon as he said "No" to the question of if there was a similarity, and then gave a ridiculous answer)

then he went on to say more ridiculous things. He's spent, no future.

You know, people like Barry Goldwater, that traitor to the Republican ideal of authoritarian government.

A few major Republicans have been treated better by the Bush Republicans than McCain but had the honor and dignity to make a point of leaving the Republican Party.  I suppose that once McCain started compromising his principles, there is no stopping.

But I suppose I qualify as one of the idealists who grew up thinking that one's principles governed one's actions, and that issues must be resolved within the framework of principles.

Where are the people who can both express their principles and act accordingly?

Then again, does anyone really know what principles are any more?

Thanks for the help, folks.  Article got over 700 Diggs, over 140 Digg comments, and tons of Reddit hits.

We got great videotaped answers from Ron Paul Saturday, along with a not-so-great answer from Mike Huckabee... articles and video coming soon.
