i was walking down ELM street today and walked into my favorite tattoo shop (all of the tattoo shops i have been in also sell many tobacco pipes)  someone was wanting to buy a glass pipe and was told by the clerk that this store was not allowed to sell glass pipes. I obviously asked more questions and apparently there are 22 stores in NH that sell glass pipes for tobacco use.yet this was the only store targeted and radded.  The DEA confiscated and smashed the entire inventory of this store.  The DEA then raided his home pointing firearms at him and his children. this store Good Times was targeted by the DEA because they are the biggest sellers of such pipes in NH. The owner who could have had the charges dropped has had the guts, while facing five years in prison, to fight this out in court so the store can not be targeted in the future.
I talked to the owner today and said i would do all that i could to help and wanted to inform everyone of this story.  I think that anyone should be able to sell anything they want to in their store no matter what it could be used for.  I just wanted to post and let people know what is going on here the court date is sometime in October the owner should be getting in touch and letting me know what kind of involvement he would like. and i will keep this updated.

Thanks for the report. +1 karma to you for moving (you SUCK!) and already getting involved with locals who need liberty lovers on their side.  8)

We should show up in court to support this guy, IMHO. I plan to attend if I'm able.

Keep us updated as to when and where the trial will be. Since this is the DEA (i.e., federal), hopefully they won't try to take him out-of-state to make it more difficult for people to help out.

If anybody has more info about this situation, please let me know.  Is there any media coverage?

from what i know there has not been media coverage.  ch9 wanted to do something but the owner said no.  i dropped off a petition there today. if you want to sign it (it basicaly says that you should have the right to buy any tobacco pipe you want.)  go to goodtimes and they have it there,  it is just on elm in the block north of the park.  Im trying to stay in contact with the owner and when he tells me what he wants i will pass it on to everyone.  At the verry least if i can find out when and where i think we should get a whole bunch of people with glass pipes smoking tobacco outside the courthouse.  i seem to remember them saying something about October 7th or 17th.  I am hoping to get him to agree to let the MFP do some coverage.

That's 817 Elm, less than half a mile south of Murphy's.
