A "general strike", by definition, only works if the vast majority of the population supports it. There's not enough liberty-minded people out there to accomplish that, and you're alienating even some of those by associating this with the 9/11 conspiracy theories.

Conspiracy theories? I still haven't seen enough to lead me to believe one way or the other who exactly was responsible for 9/11. I wouldn't put it past certain people in our Govt to have had a hand in it, nor would I put it past people in the official story to be responsible. I do however find it extremely difficult to believe some amateurs could fly planes with such precision and crash them directly into buildings. There are so many questions that are still unanswered as far as I'm concerned. As for a strike I would think it would be about as effective as those day with no gas deals people seem to do once a year. It will have little to no effect. What you need is about ten thousand armed Americans marching right into Washington demanding answers to a whole range of questions. Or one better fire everyone in office and start from scratch.
