Got this message from a fellow NH activist.  I didn't really have any info for him.  Any ideas?

QuoteDo you happen to know of a lender that will lend money for capital equipment purchases (i.e. pickup truck for my business) and not require a social security number?  I have some established under my federal tax ID number only, but currently lenders are demanding a social security number as well.  Some have even gone so far as to lie to me about this.  I just got off the phone with one person who told me the federal tax ID number would be enough.  When I got home and checked the email from her, there was an attachment for a commercial loan application AND a personal financial statement.  What did the PFS ask for?  Social security number.

IT DEPENS, IS YOUR F.TAX ID# IS THAT SET UP THROUGH A SOLE PROPRIITOR, PARTNERSHIP. LLC OR A CORPERATION?
THIS WILL EFFECT YOU NEED OF A SS #
IN A LIMITED LIEIBILITY CORPERATION OR CORPERATION NO SS # IS NEEDED
THE MAIN PARTNER % WISE OF THE PARTNERSHIP WILL NEED TO FRENISH A SS #
SOLE PROPRIITOR MUST GIVE THEIR SS#
I SUCK AT SPELLING

Thanks.

Would you mind turning off the caps lock?

is that why the spell check will not work?

Kat Kanning

Is the spell check not working?  I hadn't noticed.

BTW, the amount of load he's looking for is $7800, if anyone is interested in making a private loan.
