The Freedom Forum meets every Wednesday in Nashua at the Borders Bookstore Cafe on D.W. Highway, South. This is accessible from Exit 1 off of Route 3. It's a casual discussion group concerned with freedom issues and current events - usually we don't have an agenda, so come with your own!

We are the successor to the Libertarian Supper Club of New Hampshire, which was run by Charles Ehrenpreis of Milford. When Charles gave it up, Jack Shimek took it over, changing the name to Freedom Forum. We had a rough start when our restaurant in Merrimack closed after we'd only had 2 meetings. After a few changes of venue, We ended up settling down at Borders in South Nashua, so we could attract people up from Massachusetts, too. I had been to meetings in homes before, but since that puts the cleanup burden on that homeowner, we decided to go to a public place. We've probably been there 11 years and have seen managers come and go - actually the cafe has come and gone: from being Borders-operated to now being a Seattle's Best Coffee operation. A bookstore is a handy meeting place since we can go pull down a reference book to settle an issue.

All freedom lovers welcome. 7PM til closing every Wednesday night till we're free!

Kat, is there a way to make this recurring every week on the calendar?

Kat Kanning

No, sorry.  What I'd do it just pick "Link to Calendar" from this thread repeatedly.
