Hi All,

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I'm looking for a job in NH.  I'm currently in the process of moving my family and myself to NH as Free Staters.  I'm a Tech. Asst. MIS with 8 years experience, but am able to expand into new areas.  I can provide a resume.

Thank You,

Louis A. DeVlugt, Sr.

Hi! :)  Did you look on Craigslist.com or nhjobs.com?  They helped when my husband was looking for a job before we moved here.

Welcome.  You have more guts than I did, moving here before finding employment.  But then, MIS jobs are more universal.  (When you say "MIS", you are referring to the busy bodies in the computer department who like telling us Engineers that the secretaries need 3GHz quad-core processors with redundant hard drives while we make do with 1.7GHz Pentium 4s running Windows ME for 3D rendering, right?)

In any case, I assume you're looking for a job in the same field?  What "new areas" can you expand into?  What part of the state do you want to live in?  Only been here a year but I know some people

maybe if you add some info to your title and post some of your interests, guys can give you some leads. :)

If you post some more we can also get to know you. The job market in NH seems to continue to hop, so I wouldn't think it would take to long to find something decent, and then once you get here maybe you can find your dream job. More than one mover has really upgraded their position, pay, work atmosphere here in New Hampshire. 8)

Recumbent ReCycler

The Somersworth school system recently added a Technology Integrator position or something along those lines to their budget.  I don't know if they've advertised for it yet, but that may be a good fit for you.  I recall that the pay and benefits were very good in my opinion (more than 4 times what I make as a computer consultant/technician).  You could check with the SAU in Somersworth.  If you want more information, I can try to dig some up.

Porcupine Realtor

There was a recruiter and staffing agency at the NH Liberty Forum that seemed to have access to lots of jobs.  Davis Companies at www.daviscos.com.  You can see the FSP post about the industries and job types they represent at:
