Lysander Spooner was born 200 years ago today, January 19, 1808.

Thanks for pointing out Spooner Day!

He was from Athol, MA which is connected to NH via the absolute worst highway I have ever driven on in my life. I imagine modern Massachusetts would horrify Lysander. Of course, I imagine it horrifies lots of us too.  :o
