I'm really sorry to hear that, Joe.  I know what it's like to lose a dog you love like a child.  For what its worth, he had a great life with you.    :'(

He was a great dog and you obviously made each other very happy.

I'm sooo sorry my friend, I have no words to express my feelings.  That little guy must have been a great friend. You all talk so good about him.  Know that you'll never forget him and smile at the memory of his fluffy tale wagging in the morning.
God bless you and your little buddy.

Treasured Friend

I lost a treasured friend today
The little dog who used to lay
Her gentle head upon my knee
And share her silent thoughts with me...
She'll come no longer to my call
Retrieve no more her favorite ball
A voice far greater than my own
Has called her to His golden throne.
Although me eyes are filled with tears,
I thank Him for the happy years
He let her spend down here with me
And for her love and loyalty.
When it is time for me to go
And join her there, this much I know...
I shall not fear the transient dark
For she will greet me with her bark.

Joe, I never met you or Rocco, but I understand your loss (I went through it, too). I'm so sorry. For me, pictures helped - all I had left were the memories, so I occasionally looked at my pictures and remembered fun trips, funny incidents, cute things. I hope your memories of Rocco keep you a little bit happy in this very sad time.

Best, most loyal friend I ever had was a dog. I miss you Kaos.

Joe, be glad you got to have some time with a good soul.

Lumpy

Sorry to hear the news.  Both Aubern and I have dogs and they are our family.  We've lost dogs before.  I understand and I'm sorry.

Ron Helwig

I'm just hearing about this now. I hope you're doing better. Rocco was a great dog - even Otis got along with him.
