It was just a reaction.  One time I saw this mouse in a house we were renting and I ran in my bedroom and locked the door too. :o

I would not be getting that close to a moose.  They can be as foul tempered as any other animal.  When a cat gets angry it swats you, but i would not want a 1000 Lb moose swatting me.  It is bad for the liver, you know.  Life expectancy as well.
