I'm still waiting for someone to answer my original question (you know, the one this thread was created for).

Can you tell me how you feel about the local economy right now (say compared to six months ago, and a year or two ago) in your local area.

Not the nuts and bolts, just your overall feeling regarding your local economy.

Anybody.

It's great.  Everyone I know who wants a job has one, no houses seem to be in foreclosure, and everyone seems to have enough money to be constantly working on home-improvement projects.  There's even a fishing derby coming up this weekend.  How could there be a fishing derby if the economy were on the ropes?

FYI I live near the "Pleasant Lake" triangle, as Ron Helwig describes it.

How come no-one is trying to talk me into moving to Keene?

Because nobody knows you well enough yet to know if you'd be a good Keeniac?

Move to Keene if you like, I'm not into the persuasion business.

Sorry all, wasnt fishing for an invite, just kinda joking. I see people fishing for Keeniacs on here quite a bit, just figured when I finally posted my "hey I want to move to NH" topic I would get bombarded as well.

I'm not sure where I would be happiest. I am into activism and working within the system, but also have a healthy appetite for individualism and voluntarism.

Any of the small towns around Concord would work.
