They will insure anybody. That's why they are just an acronym these days. :)

I think the origin of GEICO is important because it's not an "old school" company like some of the other insurance agencies.

GEICO funded and donated LIDAR guns to police, some say in an effort to increase the number of speeding tickets in their primary markets and profit on the higher costs of insuring "unsafe" drivers.
