I was on my way to work today and on Front St. & Goffstown/Amoskeag Rd in North West Manchester the road crews were all from Leominster, MA.  I have a hard time believing we need to outsource our road crews to MA?  Were they really cheaper or did someone know someone in Manchester politics?  Did the town of Manchester pay them to drive their poor fuel vehicles 60 miles to do work on the roads?

No one interested in this?  They were out there again this morning...turning Front St into swiss cheese... I don't recall my car's suspension getting that much of a work out before...

Not everyone here lives in Manchester. If I lived in Manchester I would probably be more interested.

I know not everyone does...but I know there are a few...  I don't live in Manchester or I would be raising more questions myself.  Right now it's just an invoncience, though it sounds like hopefully the work will be done soon.  There was a sign up that I saw on my way home from Taproom Tuesday last night saying the road would be closed Wednesday and Thursday.... which will be fun since I don't know the area well enough to know how to get around that detour.

Well today the mASS trucks were replaced by what looked like NH DOT trucks....so maybe the mASS people had the job of ruining the road so the NH DOT had reason to repair it?  We'll see what happens Thursday/Friday after the road opens again.
