- I found this USA180 project via a thread under Civil Dis, called Interesting Video.
- It looked worth promoting, so I'm trying to spread the word more. I signed up at http://www.usa180.org/playball. The big action next week is said to involve sending emails and faxes and posting messages and press releases to certain organizations and people on 2 days between Monday and Thursday [Sep 8 - 11] as well as on the weekend. The message text and recipients won't be disclosed until the time arrives. If there are any other tasks, they're said to be easy to do.
- They promise that the action will be effective, if they get enough participants. They're getting help worldwide. They're trying to get a major story to the public that can't be squelched. Here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIF7ncIw9NY

i'm resisting the temptation to get involved for fear that this could turn out to be a chain-mail type of scam with me as part of the joke.

- This activism project was delayed for over a week and today the big news finally arrived that they want people to spread around. It doesn't seem like big news to me, though, although a couple of side issues in the message do seem like big news, but I don't know that they need to be widely circulated.
- The main event involves pressuring the govt to open a case against Canada on behalf of a cop who was jailed there for several years when he planned to inform on some local crooked cops there who he had evidence on selling confiscated drugs to a drug dealer. They got to him before he could turn over the evidence to higher-ups and they jailed him for 4 years, then turned him loose at the border without his wife, his son, or his possessions. And he still doesn't know where they are. The U.S. consul was supposed to be informed of his incarceration while he was in jail, but it wasn't informed. So he's trying to bring a case against Canada. - Does that sound like big news that everyone should try to circulate far and wide to save our nation from fascism etc?
- One of the side issues in the USA180 message is HR BILL 1955 recently passed in the House, which I think USA180 is warning will be used as justification to have Canadian and Mexican troops enter U.S. territory to help enforce the North American Union. The Senate version, I think, is SR BILL 1959, but I don't know if they've also passed it yet. Is that big news that we should all help to circulate widely?
- Here's what sounds like the big news.
"Vladimir Putin just released a statement declaring that George Bush will declare an Economic Emergency in October, and suspend the Elections indefinatley which we have suspected for sometime they would for some reason get suspended. HSPD 20 and NSPD 51 along with other Executive orders allow him to do with the stroke of a pen, and with no approval from Congress. Even making it law that congress cannot even address the issue for six months. Americans we have martial law and dictatorship around the corner. WAKE UP!"
- USA180 doesn't ask us to circulate this news, at least not as the main news item. It's included more like a footnote. Is that news that we should all help circulate? - Lyndon LaRouche said early this summer that he wouldn't be surprised if the banks close down this fall. One of these stories says that in order to suspend the election there'll probably need to be more than an economic emergency; there'll probably need to be something like another 9/11 attack.

- Does this sound to anyone like a good plan? I'm willing to be convinced, but it doesn't sound like much of a plan to me.
