LOCATION:  Dublin, NH

POSITION AVAILABLE:  Immediately


POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the editorial content of The Old Farmer's Almanac (OFA) web sites, Almanac.com and Almanac4kids.com. Work with YPI web team to produce easy-to-navigate, useful, and entertaining web sites that promote and enhance the OFA brand. This is a hands-on position, writing and editing, while also helping to define strategy and shaping the product offering.


REQUIREMENTS: :  Bachelor's degree, preferably in English/Journalism; minimum 3 years experience with daily Web site content maintenance and development (writing and editing) for consumer magazine or newspaper; the ability to multi-task; and follow assignments from concept through completion. Internet competency essential, with excellent computer skills (Macintosh, database management, MS Word); Good research skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A desire to explore trends and innovations in web publishing. Knowledge of the OFA brand is a plus. Occasional travel.
