Government Pits Husband Against Wife

There's something that's been bugging me more and more lately.

Anyone here ever noticed that once you file taxes as "married filing jointly" you can't go back to "married filing seperately"? I'm sure this isn't a bureaucratic nightmare, it's probably quite deliberate.

I'm seeing more and more police state activity, more and more killing being funded and I want to STOP paying them. Yet it only requires one signature to file a tax return in my name.

*fumes*

Anyone else got examples of that?
