State regulatory officials have begun threatening businesses that offer to give free stuff to people with the 'I Voted' sticker.

Yay government. I feel so safe and happy knowing that the screaming mobs will ensure EVERYONE (including non-voters) gets a free tall coffee and scoop if ice cream to commemorate the guns of government being passed to a new thug! W00t!

You know they have to preserve the appearance of legitimacy, and people getting free stuff for voting apparently undermines that image.

It's lucky for those Democrat supporters handing out cookies to the voters in Grafton that the New Hampshire Sec of State didn't issue a similar opinion.
The head of the poll workers came outside for a break and had one.  When she approached our group she smiled and asked "Where's your cookies?"  My response was "We have integrity; we don't bribe voters."
