Hi all,

I've been looking for some information on a program implemented here in Rochester a few months before I moved to the city. The program is called CORE and it is a "revitalization" program. Similar programs have been implemented around the state. The Cecil Group is involved with this effort. It looks like Hampton went through ?revitalization" back in 2000-2001ish. Can anyone tell me how this program played out? I've asked CORE to submit their "master plan" for my reading displeasure as well as provide me with a project costs sheet. If the costs are donation only, I know I'm not entitled to that information but there is so much gray area here. I've wondered why the downtown area has remained stagnant for the almost 2 years since I moved here, now I know it is being "saved" for the "master plan". I'm pretty turned off by this whole setup and would love to hear any stories anyone has with information on similar programs or first hand experience living in a town that used a revitalization effort program.

Thanks, Suzanne  >:D
