Which OS version?

Generally speaking, you just drag the program icon to the trash and empty it. If you want to get rid of all the associated files (like its preferences), just search under the program name and they'll be easy to spot.

There are some system-level programs (like Norton Anti-Virus  :puke: ) that are more complex than that, so let me know if you need more help.
