Little Minnesota is up for sale.

[I would have put the link to Mark Warden's listing of it, but it doesn't link directly (yet)]

Many of you have been here, a lot of you have seen it on video. You all know this is a great place, I just can't afford it anymore as I'm seriously downsizing my lifestyle.

Any questions, just ask.

interesting

I sent you an email last night, but it bounced.

I'm looking around, but Grafton is looking like the most promising place for me and Otis to end up.

Little Minnesota looks real pretty.  Good that you had some nice photos from the fall.  Shame I never made it out there to check out the range!

All of our fingers are crossed for a quick sale, I am sure.  Are you planning to wait until the close before acquiring anything up this way?

Keyser Soce

Sure would be nice if another porcupine purchased it.

I am also considering the Keene area, and will be checking it out next weekend. If it will be Grafton, I'd probably start moving up ASAP. Just talked to Silent Bob and he's going to be showing me something tomorrow afternoon. I've heard there's a town meeting/election or something in March that I could be moved up in time to attend/vote.

Put up some interior pictures.  When I was looking for a house I always had suspicions about listings with only exterior photos.

Wow...

Good luck with the sale and the move, Ron. I hope the downsize is fruitful, my wife and I are doing that right now. Incidentally, it involves a move too. :D

$8,293 in taxes per year, that's downright oppressive. Kellie and I are really looking to buy property in the near future, but damn, that's most of what we spend on rent.

Not to discourage anyone from buying your place though! It's a wonderful house, filled with several great memories for me.

others have paid more in NH for a house valued at much less

FYI, speaking as a mechanical contractor who has done some work there, and generally paid attention to the mechanicals (heating, plumbing, etc.), I can say that the work is definitely above the average.  There are certainly upgrades that could be made, but that's the case with nearly any building.  All-in-all, the mechanicals should last a good number of years, and would provide better-than-average efficiency, even with no upgrades.
