I have a side opening stove (Franklin?) on my deck from the previous owner of our house.  Comes with 4' or so of galvanized chimney.  Seems in reasonable shape.   If interested email bbarian@cotse.net with contact info and we can work out a good time to take a look.    I might be able to update this with a pic if I get the time soon.

Bump.

Still available.  A little wire brushing and black stove paint and it would be perfect to heat a small house or a garage.  I can get $30 for it as scrap metal, but if someone really wants a stove with fall approaching, this is a pretty economical method to get one.

Its getting cold, a cheap stove might be useful.  :-)

email me with a location...
I am in hudson and would rather not drive 2 hours one way for it... I am cheap...lol

thanks, and yes I am cold.

We still have the wood stove available. :)

Just to let anyone know that this needs some cleaning up and does not come with the chimney pipe. You will have to see about that yourself.

Also, this is more like a fireplace stove. It is about a 1 1/2' deep and about 3' wide. We have not used it since we bought our house but beleive it may have been in it at some point. This has been stored outside since we have been here.

Thanks for any interest.

Still available, nobody seems able to actually want to spend the time to take it away, even for $50.    Undergrounders can have it for $40.

it'd be a nice gift for someone who has 12 kids serving in the military from the design on the front doors.

I don't know much about woodstoves. . . lest have a place for it.  If I did, and if I did. . . I would definitely take a look.  Keep bumping it someone's sure to take it

With the rust, you may be better of selling it for scrap.

BaRbArIaN

Its only surface rust, a little wire brushing and stove black it would be fine.   I can get $30 for it scrap last time I checked.  I might put it in my garage to heat it if I go out there and do projects in the winter.
