How'd I do on my first night as guest co-host on FTL?

I'm probably going to regret asking that.  :)

AntonLee

no way!  Now I gotta listen to the podcast.

TackleTheWorld

Three things I liked:

  • speed - You got your comments into the conversation, even when others were talking fast.
  • volume - You made comments on all the topics.
  • profoundity  - You added pithy aphorisms.  You injected some dense ideas to the program that haven't been covered before.

I really liked the more-intellectual outlook you have, not just giving your opinion but making predictions.
Thanks to Ian for letting you talk at the beginning, that doesn't happen very often.

I think you did very well, casual and natural.  A+

What she said.  Good job!

Dale is my new second favorite co-host, next to the Gard Dog.

Kat Kanning

Downloading it.  Maybe we'll listen to it in the car  :D

I loved yesterday's show, I've only listened to half of it so far though. I'm not entirely go so far as to say I've got a "favorite" co-host since I like a couple of them for different reasons. That said, having two voluntaryists and not having Mark do the oh-so-boring "I'm gonna be a minarchist because it makes for good radio even though when another minarchist comes on the show I advocate private police" thing did change the dynamic of the show a little bit, and while I like it better I think there MIGHT be some value to the system they've got going. ;)

In short, I think it's good and you did great Dale. It was certainly entertaining and I'd enjoy listening to future shows with you on.

Sounded great to me, Dale!

I didn't listen to the whole show, though.

Ryan McGuire

Twas my favorite episode in a long while!

(Not to say I don't like most episodes, I listen daily in the car)
