GREAT VIDEO -- "BUSTED - FLEX YOUR RIGHTS"

It's one thing to allow one's arrest in a good cause.  It's quite another to get arrested for no good reason.

This 45 minute video could save your butt.  Here's the link:

If you do get busted, call Evan Nappen or me.  He's "licensed" to practice.  I'm not.  He can't advertise, or he'll be disbarred.  Because I haven't succumbed to the American Bar Association (ABA), I don't have to play by their rules.  (Evan had no part in this blatant act of advertising.  I did this purely on my own, and I am certainly not his shill.)

I did this because you guys need to stop going into court without legal assistance.  Jesus.  You have a Sixth Amendment right to legal counsel, but there is nothing in the law or the Constitution that says it has to be only from the ABA commercial monopoly.

I work a lot cheaper than Evan, but if you want gov't-approved legal counsel in a firearm-related case, he's the one.  His contact info is:

Evan Nappen, Esq.
888-4 GUN LAW (888-448-6529)
gunesq1@verizon.net

In the alternative, you can hire me as lead, and I can use Evan or someone else in court if it proves to be more cost-effective.  Call me for details.

They will hunt for giving legal advise with out their permission... especially if you are payed for it.

Since your not one of them you can't be held legally responsible for any poor advice you may give.

At least if one goes into court and remains silent they will have nothing but the original charges to hold against you.

It has been proven by the Montana Freeman, by Russell, by Ian and by Lauren that to play their game is a loosing proposition.

If one remains silent, the Judge has to worry about his decision and how will affect him and his court.

We can not help those people who go into court and play their games.  We can only help those who choose to resist.

The link provided in the original post of this thread includes all three parts.

Let me make this clear.  I will not play their court, statist games.  Since I'm not a member of the ABA, they have no hold over me.  In addition I have taken other precautions that insulate me from the usual statist pressures.

For the bad guys reading this, I am judgement proof, and I am armed.

For the good guys I pay my debts.

I am well-positioned to defend your rights.  How many lawyers can make that claim?

I have yet to hear anything good about Evan Nappen.  He is the only Porc I resent having helped move into NH.  At first I was surprised that he was charging Porcs.  Now, I hear some of his clients regret dealing with him due to lousy representation.

Would you be able to sit beside the defendant in the inquisition trial?

Not without an argument, but yes, eventually, I believe so.  Previewing my strategy in public is not wise, however.  Call me for details.

Lloyd raises some good points.

I will work for Shire Silver if we can get that going.  I've made some proposals over there regarding the design of portable, hand operated presses, but haven't heard any feedback yet.

In fairness to Evan, I have seen him cut his bill in half for one porc, but he has a lot of overhead and is still expensive.  I don't have overhead.

It would be interesting to know how many of Evan's digruntled clients were firearms cases, as opposed to dmv cases.

Regarding charging at all, Lloyd, are you advocating some sort of socialist utopia for porcs?  We have skills and deserve compensation for best efforts rendered.  Sometimes an emergency room doctor receives a dying patient and, despite herculean efforts at resuscitation, loses the patient.  Are you saying he shouldn't get paid for doing his very best to fight the odds?

If you don't play, you can't win.  Sitting silent in court while letting them throw the book at you is just stupid.

That being said, hiring an expensive lawyer beholden to the state may not be the best way to go, either.  I'm searching to provide a middle ground.  Maybe it will work, maybe not.  Maybe it will take time and the right case to develop a novel strategy that succeeds.  Over time, I believe we can prevail.

Let the market decide.

In the meantime, watch the video and protect yourself.

When stopped, immediately ask if a crime has been committed.  If one has, they may question you further.  You can give you name and address verbally if walking.  If they ask you to get out of the car, grabbing your keys and locking the car as you get out is a good idea.  If they cannot articulate a crime and a policeman tries to search you, tell them that you understand that they're just doing their job, but that you can't consent to any searches, and ask if you are free to leave.

If they persist in questioning, tell them you'll answer questions only when your attorney is present. That kicks in the Sixth Amendment, and all questioning should cease.  Clam up, and don't let them intimidate you into an argument.  They may grumble and maybe give you a ticket, and then, if you've done your job right, they will go away.

The power in all this starts with you.  If you do your homework beforehand, and don't give them an inch, your attorney has a much better shot at getting you off scott free if police ignore the law.

Finally, Lloyd is right on in his comment about suing the town for illegal stops and searches.  Manchester found this out the hard way, and Concord should, too.  If it happens to you, record it if you can, or write it all down in sequential detail immediately afterwards.

Bullies back off only if you push back.

there's nothing wrong with evan charging; to think otherwise is to think like a communist.
He did give a free gun rights q and a for us at Porcfest.

However having said that , he usually does not seem to be a very active activist.

Recumbent ReCycler

Don't forget about Penny Dean.  She's a very competent gun rights lawyer who has helped me out when I needed it.
